I received this note from an old friend this morning. It made my day. A reminder of why we do what we do.
A happy parent I met last night. Originally from Somalia. His three children are all attending GMU. He highly praised the educations they were getting (in business, computer science, occupational therapy) and their access to your faculty. He was also grateful for the financial aid packages and scholarships they were awarded. He drives a taxi after he finishes his full time day job. He said that GMU made a dream come true.
